Re: When you go into a casino, do you win a lot or go broke?

Will give you two SMALL examples, one with video poker, one with slots..................not going to ramble on about this because
.........1. Not going to ruin golden gooses that abound.......2. Don't have the time .........3. Don't appreciate listening to numerous naysayers, bashers, and doubters who have no clue about the actual world of video poker/slots.
Again, here are two SMALL examples.........
VIDEO POKER---These days(not as much in past), most +EV video poker evolves around casino promos of some sort.......usually in a given month, there are only a handf.ul or two of these to attack(if one does not want to go outside the state of Nevada)........one plays an a 100+% machine(easily figured out by the paytables) or one close to it when attacking these promos..........last week ThePalms had a holiday promo where they were giving extra cash for so many pts plus holiday gift cards..........couple this with a 3X pts coupon I had(this alone added .5% to the game) and one could play an array of different machines that provided close to a 101% payback, meaning one would make $1 for every $100 invested...........was able to find a machine where I was able to put over $5,000 an hour through, so on paper was making over $50 an hour for the days play(ended up running well and profited $3,900).........this play will also garninsh excellent MAILERS in the future.
On the SLOT front, another SMALL play...........many of you that frequent casinos have seen the numerous machines that have two progressives that must be hit by a certain amount, one by 50.00, the other by 500.00.........well, simply play the small progressive when it reaches 45.50 and the large one when it reaches 465.00(hopefully combined with a good slot card)........in the long, longrun, one will come out ahead(expect MASSIVE swings).
Been playng THOUSANDS of variations of slots and video poker plays like these for nearly 20 years......and as mentioned, not going to mention the better varieties that only a handful of others are aware of.........the face of this GRIND is always changing.
Overall, for me personally(not the case with some other professioal gamblers), sportsbetting has been much, much more lucrative than VP/SLOTS over the last few years.
