he was just a throw in guy liek qualls is. both are shit. pelf will get wins though with the mets. he has been shit so far in most starts and he is 2-0. qualls to me is shit also, but i needed a closer to replace mo.

i have mo a bit over wain, and qualls a bit over pelf, but not much. anyone you'd take instead of pelf?

My view on the deal is

Wain > Mo
Qualls > Pelfrey

So wasn't tough to decline. Qualls is 12th or so on closers last time i look. He seems to be serviceable imo

i have mo over wain for sure. mo is a top 3 closer without a doubt and wain is a little wild at times. i am just looking for better starters because i can't go into weeks with guys like hammel starting, so i was willing to lose that trade.

not like he's old. mets offense could be even better this year with reyes and wright growing more, and a healthy ryan church. not saying he will score in the pujols range, but he will be a top 5 bat this year and got drafted behind guys that won't even be top 40 bats.
