My "Winning Wednesdays" selection is New Mexico -12.5 over TCU. Barry Holthaus likes BYU -5 over San Diego State.
We apologize for the technical difficulties. Jimmy Vaccaro has agreed to return for next week's show.

I'm greatly disappointed, but I'm grateful Jimmy Vaccaro has agreed to return next week.
Thanks for your patience and humor.

So JK, is New Mex the play you've been waiting for for 2 weeks? If so, it just barely gets a mention now?
well, I appreciate the subtle mention a few weeks back. I somehow remembered and put 2 units on it, so thanks!

Jk---maybe you could get Scotty S and Jimmy V on the show at the same time to swap lies
first rip off tout i ever had @ 7 years ago. not sure how they found me, but, someone from his office called me,
stupid me got roped in, and i immediately lost 30,000. his group couldn't give out a winner if they had
tomorrow's newspaper. top it off, he was always unavailable to speak with; always had to go through
one of his touts. that movie with al pacino awhile ago---exactly hoe vacarro's office worked--i swear
on my kid's lives. he sucks!!!!!! fuck him!!!!!!!!!
agree. Im biting my tounge out of respect for jk
Vacarro was talking about 'in progress' (adjust line during commercial breaks) betting the other night. Luckys has reinstated it for the NFL playoffs which is different than 'in running' betting that the 'M' offers. Ask him what the limits are and if they had it last year did they have enough people behind the counter to accomodate everyone since you only have 3-4 minutes to get your bets in.
Lastly ask Jimmy if he ever missed a 'Soprano's' episode and how he liked the last one...
Can you ask Jimmy why Las Vegas sportsbooks (including Lucky's) feel it's okay to offer such ridiculously short prices on Derby futures? They might as well offer the Packers moneyline @ -1000 (with -700 on the other side).
I think I remember one Leroy's show when Jimmy said something to the effect that he had no problem with crappy future odds and would make 40 cent or worse lines on everything if he could get away with it.
JK, maybe you remember that, I hope I remember it correctly. In a way he's right, if people are stupid enough to bet bad futures, why not take advantage of it? OTOH, if competition works, some book(s) will offer good futures odds and people, if they are smart, will shop around and get a good price thereby letting the competitive book make more money via a bigger handle.
I remember, Bob. And Vic Salerno of Leroy's took it one step further by saying, "If you don't like our prices, bet somewhere else."
