Their plans are hampered big time by Kamala being President before the election starts. The arguments will have a deep echo to them. If she is not certified by Inauguration Day, she becomes President Pro Tempore which is latin for the time being.

What I keep saying is that once he is sentenced he can not hold any office in the US. Its been decades since a convicted felon has held political office.

Every state closed that out long ago. Once sentenced he is automatically disqualified from holding any office anywhere. Once the election is over there is no one running for anything.

The threat by the Federalist is that they are going to force Trump to be President while on house arrest. Anyone on house arrest can be put in jail at any time for any reason.
