^^^^^^^^^ He will stay with the Doyers. Whne all is said and done he will have a 4-year deal for North of $100M. Maybe around $110-$120ish
Makes sense, translated, he won't opt out. In today's market a pitcher that can chew up 4-5 innings and keep it close is worth 12-15mil per.
.........and Kershaw knows it which is why he will NOT "opt out" of the last 2 years of his deal. If he does he is GONE - and he knows it. He stays, gets his $35M-ish/year for 2 more years. If he think he is getting a 5-year deal after that - good luck. Some stupid team might offer it but not the Doyers. After 2020 I can see LA giving him a 2-3 year deal for maybe $35M but nothing more then it is up to him to decide what to do.
Buehler is clearly #1 although Kershaw will start Opening Day 2019
Pretty much what was expected
Could you be right at least one time?
The money surprised me a little, but owners are throwing stupid money around now. You called it pretty good I think.I wasn't thaaaaaat far off here
Love looking back.......
Struck out the 1st 7 batters Wed Night in his 2 hits allowed win ( 7 innings )
Please don't insult the mighty Mudhens. The Marlins are power rated slightly above the Toledo Mudhens.
dodger will continue to choke every October, hoping for a baseball strike
Kershaw should be closer, jansen sucks
Wasn’t the whole premise of Roberts being the manager is the front office basically making his lineups out for him based on metrics?Pollack lead off last night flailing away and Roberts puts him 3rd tonight. You gotta wonder, present form is AAA, so who cares about historical trends.
