I'm happy after tonight, the 2 reasons I watch the show survived.
Sanjaya to laugh at and Haley to look at.
kind of dissapointed to see Gina go, she's thick but pretty cute and a good singer. I would have liked to see Phil go or the Justin Timberlake wanna be Chris.
Plus they really need to stop showing Haley's fiancee every damn time she is on stage. We know that guy has a hot wife to be plus now a meal ticket stop shoving it in our faces.

Internet posting forums and message boards are filled with a vast array of comments made by millions of American Idol fans on a daily basis.
Some of the more interesting ones I found today include:
"Phil does really need to go. His whole look really scares me. I can't stand to see him with a stupid hat but when he goes bald, I go blind with all that light shining off his dome. Plus those eyebrows are too perfectly plucked."
"Haley Scarnato's legs are up now. Haley-bop confuses Tony Bennett with her song interpretation or maybe he just misplaced his Viagra. If Haley had ANY charisma or personality, she'd be dangerous in this competition. As it is the sultry sluttish route seems to be working so far. The judges do their best to bury Haley by basically not commenting on her performance, real classy on their part."
"Sanjaya would be that perfect guy singing on a cruise ship in a ballroom full of senior citizens."
"Sanjaya is a weenie. All the judges don't comment on his singing cause it sucks but he soaks up all the praise that's he's a good entertainer. I THINK he truly felt Simon was being honest when he said "incredible". Just watched it again and Sanjaya seemed so excited. Idiot. He continues to be safe though cause people want to see the car wreck again every week."
But the poster I found most entertaining had the following short message to say regarding Haley:
"I think Haley will come out in a bikini next week. She keeps wearing less and less."

OMG..... Please tell me how the no-acting, no-singing, money-grubbing J-Ho(Jennifer Lopez) has any place on American Idol in giving these contestants pointers on their songs.......

NO-acting? OMG , Hache, this will be the MOST we have ever disagreed on something.....
That is one of my favorite movies, and think she did an AWESOME job in it....
I prefer her acting , over her singing, but we really disagree on this one..
Its latin music night, is why she is there to help out..

Sorry bucs, I just can't stand her....I really, truly can't.
Ok..... I will agree that I exaggerated on the acting part, but the singing is as choreographed in the studios as Britney Spears was.
This woman has no business giving ANYONE advice on how to sing.....:doh1

Probably gonna see Sunjaya sneek through another week....
according to rumor, Lakysha might go home tonight...if that happens, i might be done with this show, as its turning into a joke now....
Simon even told haley last night that she was using the right stategy by wearing as little clothes as possible....they even realize this "talent" show is becoming a joke this year........

My guess is that we've seen the last of Haley tonight. Not only did she sing poorly, somebody should have told her that a little bit of subtlety with the sex appeal would have worked better. I think she overplayed her hand, er, gams, last night....:newsmile015:

You may be right, especially since she is treated with such disdain by the judges to the point where I think they are doing their best to get rid of her. They made it sound like she was the worse one there last night when there were at least 2 or 3 performances that were much worse.

Once again, Sunjaya NOT EVEN in the bottom 3....
No way Chris should be up there, he did a good rendition of "Smooth" by Santana.....
Even the AI people are starting to joke about him still being around....making him stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down..etc
Haley is probably gone tonight..

Well i was close....we are down to 4 now, and only 1 guy remains....
The girls are dominating it so far....however, this might play to Blake's advantage now...as the girls might split the votes among the rest of the audience, and he will get ALL THE TEENY BOPPERS votes, with the other 2 guys gone....he might sneek in to the final 2 or 3 with the way it broke down.....
Glad my selection of Lakysha Jones survived to the final 4, however, i dont think anyone is gonna beat Melinda...

Tonight is the Big Finale, and a person couldnt be more excited, right?
Wrong......i dont even care if i see the show tonight, and thats a first for me....I am always anxiously anticipating the Big Showdown, but once they voted my favorite (Lakysha) off, and got rid of the best singer in the competition (Melinda) then its kinda anti-climactic as to who wins....I dont think either of these 2 is gonna be a big pop star, nothing like Kelly, or Carrie are....I dont think either will win an Oscar like Jennifer, nor do i see either starring on Broadway like Fantasia is......
They are both nice kids, and have good voices, but they arent AMERICAN IDOLS, and that in itself is reason enough not to care too much about tonight.....
