Taylor Swift endorses Kamala Harris​


Pop superstar Taylor Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential candidacy on Tuesday night after the conclusion of the high-stakes debate.

"I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election," Swift said in a post on Instagram. "I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades."

"I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice," the Grammy-winning artist added. "Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered! I also find it’s much easier to vote early. I do think the closing statement was good but he should have been pounding that point from the beginning. He waited til msot people's minds were made up already to bring that point up.

Normally I don't put much stock in celebrity endorsements, but she isn't a normal celebrity, she's the biggest celebrity maybe in the world, so this is big, millions of her fans who might not have voted will now vote because of her

One of them was as prepared as possible last night, the other one just winged it, she stared him down all night, every time she spoke about him she would look at him, he never looked at her once, I watched the replay and not one time did he look in her direction, just stood there with that stupid weird grin on his face every time she insulted him, she looked like a prosecutor making her case to the American people, and he looked like a conspiracy kook who did nothing but tell lie, after lie, after lie

Exactly, how do you think that played out? The media lapped it up, did the people watching like it that she turned every question she was asked into an attack on trump?

For instance when they asked her about the afghan pullout/debacle she turned to trump and insulted him, acted like it was trumps fault, when they asked her about immigration she turned to him and implied 10 million people coming in on her watch was trumps fault.

I think you're not going to like what you see in the coming days/weeks sir.

Early polls say Harris won the presidential debate​


On Tuesday night, former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris met for their first, and potentially only, presidential debate, with each candidate hoping to gain a crucial advantage over the other in a very close race. And based on early reviews from the American public, it seems like Harris came out on top.

As of 1 p.m. Eastern, 538 has collected three national polls and one swing-state poll that were conducted since the debate.* In all of them, more people who watched the debate said Harris won the debate than said Trump did. On average, 57 percent of debate watchers nationally said Harris turned in the better performance; only 34 percent said Trump did.

As soon as the debate ended Kamala immediately said she would debate him again, if I was him I wouldn't want any part of her
