past champ means nothing. more worried on present keepers and consistent managing when evaluating teams.

What do your manager rankings look like? I haven't seen a stat for evaluating managers

1) tripp (trying to be as humble as possible, but facts are facts)
2) TN (solid team every year)
3) Rjt (got lucky with yoyo giving him kershaw for bum votto, but still usually solid)
4) The rook Tegs (already more impressive than most of the league. My guess is shoots past rjt and tn this season)
5) Cee (again usually solid and pts for being a former champ. didn't do well enough to set yourself up with pitching keeps though in a pitching heavy league. also had Felix/Verly/CC at one point and somehow end up with ricky romero as your top SP keep)
6) TTP (turned into a slapdick lately and living off past glory. only reason he is this high is for being a former champ.)
7) MC (usually has a solid team at one point during the year but never can keep it together cause of crazy deals. think he plays more for the fun of dealing sometimes than for winning)
8) Timely (Really only proved he can rip cee off for a couple of aces and ride them to a playoff spot. we will see how he responds this year when verly isnt having the year of his life)
9) Brick (know nothing about him but cant be worse than the rest of the slapdicks in this league)

I want record for the very reason i said. Don want week 1 where you may score 600 with 18 2 steps make a difference when u fizzle out the next few weeks.

Athletics signed DH Manny Ramirez to a minor league contract.

Ramirez will earn a salary of $500,000 if he eventually lands a spot on Oakland's 25-man roster and is able to maintain it. The 39-year-old still has to serve a 50-game PED suspension and seems doubtful to take on anything more than a part-time DH role once he is finally cleared to play. He can be left undrafted in all fantasy leagues.
