Who has the best EOG team?

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

I just dont get that decision at all.

Why have Duke on a roster if you cant start him for a two step at home against shitty pitching i think.

That and start Dontelle now two worst managerial moves

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

what does that mean?

it says hes a P...doesnt say RP or SP

his first major league action is a starter.

doesnt that mean hes starter?

im confused :+clueless
Sportsline makes the position elgibility. If you click on him it will say he is RP elibile.

That is something they decide and doesnt change until he hits the number of starts to change it.

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

Yeah, TTP is right, we cant change a players eligibility, Sportline decides. Though MC has a point the guy never played in major leagues and only started this year in minors so why he not a SP when called up?

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

Gamer that aint up to us to decide. Bad call but he hasnt started yet. What if they get rained out and he ends up relieving first.

You never know.

Now onto other things Tripper still has a chance if Pelfrey can throw a gem

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

haha you'll still win mo, surprised my guys made it this close though. you'd have been in trouble if kershaw got the cg so, but since he didn't you're fine.

27 pt game with only pelf left, and you still have wright/reyes in that game. would take a cg so by pelf to give me any sort of chance.

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

youk really killed me this week. nice of francona to say last week there is no way youk hits the dl and he'd be 100% for this week:doh1

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

masterson cant get a win because boston is 0-600 with runners in scoring position. to score 0 runs, after loading the bases with 0 outs, and bay up....is as awful as it gets.

losing a masterson win
losing a couple hundred on the play.

awesome

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

Wow MC made another bad start benching Pierre when he started the cold Swisher.

Swisher had two weeks where he was a monster but is really a bad player for this league to start every week

Pierre only has value for next 6 weeks and i would try to start him every chance i had.

PS BG's gargbage is really doing well this week, Pierre with 38 points and Winn 26

That aint really fair. Anyone has guys on bench that they should have, could have played.

But the Duke thing is just plain horrific. You have a National Laegue pitcher, who has pitched well,at home for two, against two decent to shitty pitchers, and you bench him for a 1 start road game of Brian Banninster...Brian fucking Banister2348ji23e2348ji23e2348ji23e2348ji23e2348ji23e2348ji23e

I hear ya, but i didnt see his lineup till now, no way in fuck i would ever start Morgan or Swisher over Pierre who is leading off now.

Until Manny comes back, Pierre is a very solid play

Being that i had too many solid OF as it is i couldnt start Pierre so i included him in deal with Pujy

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

TTP, do you think Ubaldo is for real?

I all but gave up with him a few weeks ago but since then the dude has been damn solid in his last 4 or 5 starts and he throws 98MPH

has there ever been a colorado pitcher to count on since the franchise began

I would say he gonna have some good starts but some clunkers too

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

Just imagine what Peavy will do when he's not "hurt".

The reason why i really liked Ubaldo before the year was that he was much better at Coors then away, so i thought if any pitcher would ever be fantasy relevant in Coors it was this dude.

He has looked really good the last 4 starts, starting to feel he will make my decisions each week very difficult.

I like what u said a few weeks back, that too many "must starts" hurts u, because i would much rather start Ubaldo, Parra, Bush when they have a 2 start week then an AJ burnett with one start.

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

wholly shit. Just looked at VDs team to see how the guys did that filled in.

He had fucking negative points out of his whole pitching staff for the week. wholly smokes.

that is nasty

U wanna trade Peavs for some hitting?

He'll have negative pts again if he starts the guys he currently has in his lineup for next week. Hammel, Redding and Niemann are 3 of the 10 worst pitchers in baseball.

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

Look at Yomama for example. He sitting Garza next week. One of his top 5 pitchers in baseball.

Hard to know how to play guys other than Santana,Doc,Haren,or Brian Bannister

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

Chien-Ming Wang, SP NYY
Latest News
MLB.com reports that Chien-Ming Wang tossed seven scoreless innings of four-hit ball on Sunday in his second rehab start with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He threw 75 pitches, 49 for strikes. Facing a Clippers lineup featuring big leaguers Travis Hafner, Andy Marte and Tony Graffanino that entered the game hitting an International League-best .285, Wang was efficient. In his first six innings, his longest frame lasted 11 pitches. The seventh, in which he allowed two hits -- a broken-bat bloop to Hafner and a swinging bunt to Columbus catcher Chris Gimenez -- required 16 offerings.
(Updated 05/17/2009).
Analysis
Wang's fastball didn't reach higher than 92 on the PNC Field radar gun, but his command was strong and he didn't issued any walks. Wang has not allowed a run while scattering seven hits and three walks over 13 innings in his two rehab stars. He avoided being hit by batted balls Sunday -- which he could not do in his first start when Josh Kroeger lined one off his left leg -- although he did have to occasionally dodge pieces of broken Columbus bats. There is the possibility he could return sometime during Week 7 (May 18-24) but we'd predict Week 8 as being the better possibility. Either way, it looks like he is ready to contribute again.

Re: Who has the best EOG team?

Cee bad luck with Weeks

Rickie Weeks will see a specialist after injuring his left wrist during Sunday's game.

Weeks has had right wrist problems in the past, and he'll see the same doctor that operated on him at the end of 2006. If he lands on the DL, the Brewers figure to go to Craig Counsell as their primary second baseman and call up Hernan Iribarren as a backup. Mat Gamel to third and Bill Hall to second would be too much of a downgrade defensively, and Alcides Escobar isn't doing much offensively in Triple-A.
