I think the case can be made for any team to win the NL pennant, Atl, NYM, Phi, Mil, LAD, SD, Ari, I honestly think any one of them could reach the WS, I can't think of another year where I felt this wayI like this Mets team. Hoping they hold off Atlanta, as I think they can do some damage in the post season.
Skenes sharp again, ERA now Under 2.00, I'm officially worried about my Merrill future
How is Imanaga’s so low?Yep. We know they like to use WAR, and Skenes has a clear lead in WAR.
Skenes starts: 22 innings 131 innings W/L 11-3 ERA: 1.99 WHIP: 0.96 167 strikeouts WAR: 6.0
Imanaga starts; 29 innings 173 innings W/L 15-3 ERA 2.91 WHIP 1.02 174 strikeouts WAR 3.2
Merrill: 151 games 157 hits, BA: .292 SP .503 OPS: .829 HRs: 24 rbis: 89 29 doubles WAR 4.3
Imanaga on the outside looking in,. Normally a 15-3 sub 3 ERA would be good enough for RotY.
How is Imanaga’s so low?
Cubs are 23-6 in his starts, leads the league.
They could have played this DH in Houston or Texas today. There has been precedent in moving games to avoid weather.MLB nightmare scenario if both games ppd
Mets vs Atl.
I don't know if Ron Washington's job is safe, but if the Angels part ways with him, Skip would have interest in that job as wellThe Marlins are expected to part ways with Skip Schumaker at the end of the season, when that happens I expect the Cardinals to fire Marmol, and Schumaker will be the new Cardinals manager
They could have played in Miami, the Marlins finish the season on the roadThey could have played this DH in Houston or Texas today. There has been precedent in moving games to avoid weather.
31-11 their last 42 games, incredible, they were something like 30/1 to make the playoffs four or five weeks agoRaise your hand if you thought 50/1 on Tigers to make playoffs preseason raised a eyebrow![]()
Best I can do is wins over 79?, and Skubal 10/1 and 7/1 to win the CY.Raise your hand if you thought 50/1 on Tigers to make playoffs preseason raised a eyebrow![]()
Dodgers DFA Heyward, the only question is why it took them so long...
they had the iron weight of cabrerra around their necks for the last 3-4 yrs, he's gone, along with his salary, and now they compete.31-11 their last 42 games, incredible, they were something like 30/1 to make the playoffs four or five weeks ago
I have Corbin Carroll Over 22.5 HR's, he has 22, need one today, a couple weeks ago some guy on Milwaukee made an unbelievable play robbing him of a HR, it was the top play on MLB Network
Fuck him and his familyI think it was Frelick who robbed him.
