This registers , not a futures guy but I like this.

Not an easy bet to make, as they are clearly very talented. But they also have the SB loser angle going against them.

Two public handicappers have given out MVP candidates: Chernoff likes Josh Allen (the QB, not the LB) and Teddy Covers likes Aaron Rodgers. I do think Rodgers has a clear path IF the Jets are good. The QB play last year was so poor, if they win the AFC East the NY media will be lobbying for him. 25/1 ish not bad.

incorrect,, they have increased each of the last 3 years. 10,13,15. Barkley is a better GL back for sure , I don't think the eagles expect him to get injured running the tush push though. Hurts is 26, nothing is declining yet but I hope you and V cash the ticket.

Actually I was using your data from an earlier post - "Last 3 seasons he had 15, 13, 10." To me that reads like it decreased the last 3 years??

Very misleading, the way you wrote it above makes more sense.

As for the bet it's pointless to argue opinions, everyone is entitled, especially since I'm already locked in.

I like the bet but that doesn't always guarantee success. We move on.

So somebody bet 250k on Chiefs to win division at -250. You have to think value considering they've won it forever. However they are so QB centric, any injury to Mahomes and you're screwed.

The guy is basically betting -250 that Mahomes doesn't get injured, I think it's a pretty solid bet. True story, one year I made a future on the Pats to win the division, I laid around -600, as I clicked submit I said to myself the only way this loses is if Brady gets hurt and misses a significant amount of time, sure enough he gets hurt and is out for the season, the Dolphins I think ended up winning the division, that was the Matt Castle season

Titans trade QB Malik Willis to the Packers for a 2025 7th rd pick

Titans have starting QB Will Levis and at backup Mason Rudolph

If the Titans can avoid injuries and win close games I think they will be much better than the 6 win total put out by DraftKings.

Will Levis has got loads of potential and has Calvin Ridley,DeAndre Hopkins,Tyler Boyd and Treylon Burks as WRs as well as Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears at RB.

The offensive line will be much better with free agent center Lloyd Cushenberry, First TD pick LT JC Latham joining last years first rounder Peter Skoronski and coached up by one of best OL line coaches Bill Callahan

On defense they picked up CB L'Jarious Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie and beefed up the D line drafting T'Vondre Sweat massive DT in second round from Texas to pair with stud DT Jeffery Simmons and the defensive coordinator is former Ravens defensive coach Denard Wilson.

Titans traded for Rams LB Ernest Jones he was their leading tackler last year.

I think the Titans will be a lot better than the forecasted 6.5 wins at many sportsbooks.

Tennessee is known for running the ball but are going to be more of a passing offense moving forward.

They have Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears at RB and WR they have DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd along with a vastly improved O line including center Lloyd Cushenberry, LT JC Latham coached up by Bill Callahan one of best at coaching O lines.

On defense they picked up CBs L'Jarious Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie in free agency and drafted T'Vondre Sweat to help on the defensive line.

Should be a very interesting week one game between the Titans and Bears up in Chicago.

After all the Bears look improved as well especially on offense they drafted QB Caleb Williams and WR Rome Odunze in first round this year and already have DJ Moore, Keenan Allen as well as DeAndre Swift.

The Packers and Lions better watch out the Bears are going to be very tough this season.

The Titans and Browns were both revamped in 1999 so I was curious and decided to look back over the past 25 seasons from 1999 through 2023 to see how all NFL teams did reg/post in overall victories.....

1--New England Patriots 304 wins
2--Pittsburgh Steelers 266 wins
3--Green Bay Packers 262 wins
4--Indianapolis Colts 256 wins
5--Baltimore Ravens 256 wins
6--Philadelphia Eagles 249 wins
7--Seattle Seahawks 242 wins
8--Kansas City Chiefs 241 wins
9--New Orleans Saints 233 wins
10--Dallas Cowboys 222 wins
11--Denver Broncos 220 wins
12--Tennessee Titans 217 wins

13--Minnesota Vikings 216 wins
14--San Francisco 49ers 207 wins
15--L.A. Rams 207 wins
16--L.A. Chargers 206 wins
17--N.Y. Giants 201 wins
18--Buffalo Bills 201 wins
19--Tampa Bay Bucs 200 wins
20--Atlanta Falcons 200 wins
21--Miami Dolphins 199 wins
22--Carolina Panthers 192 wins
23--Chicago Bears 190 wins
24--Cincinnati Bengals 189 wins
25--N.Y. Jets 182 wins
26--Arizona Cardinals 175 wins
27--Washington Commanders 170 wins

28--Las Vegas Raiders 169 wins
29--Jacksonville Jaguars 168 wins
30--Houston Texans 157 wins
31--Detroit Lions 153 wins
32--Cleveland Browns 138 wins

With the top twelve teams the Cowboys & Titans were the only teams not to win a title. The Titans did get to Super Bowl but lost in final seconds as time ran out.

In the middle tier the Rams, Giants and Bucs all won multiple titles.

The bottom five is no big surprise but pretty much have all improved over the past couple years especially Detroit & Houston.

Poor Cleveland those guys just can't seem to catch a break.

Packers to cut down the nets +1800
Lions to cut down the nets +1200
Eagles to cut down the nets +1400
Jets to win the AFC +1100
Will eventually add a future on the Bengals
Jordan Love injured his MCL, nothing like losing a SB future on week 1

I'm on the Titans as well, came across this on another forum

rookie quarterbacks have struggled in their debut. Round 1 rookies in Week 1 are 4-22 SU the last 26 starts.

I'm on Tenn plus 4 1/2 as well. I'm overall still bullish on the Bears but Caleb isn't going to be Peyton Manning from day 1. I see Sweat was listed as questionable. If he can't go, they won't have much of a pass rush.

Here's a prop I like: Jonathon Taylor over 69 1/2 rush yards.

I heard an interesting tidbit on the South Point football YouTube channel. Haven't confirmed yet.

The last 1st overall QB draft pick to win their first start in an NFL game was David Carr in 2002 for the Texans. 15 QBs since then.

Last year at Miami on Monday Night Football Titans rookie QB Will Levis became the only QB in NFL history to be down 14 points with less than 2 minutes 55 seconds left and comeback and win without having to go to overtime

Levis is also just the second QB in NFL history to throw for 4 TDs in an NFL debut

Levis did these two things last year as a rookie QB despite having the worst offensive line in the NFL as well as having hardly any weapons on offense

When Tennessee fired head coach Mike Vrabel after last season and hired new head coach Brian Callahan from Cincinnati one of first things Callahan did was watch film on Levis and decided to keep him as his future starting QB.

Callahan had Joe Burrow as his QB running the offense in Cincy and groomed Jake Browning as the backup.

Titans GM Ran Carthon decided to sign in free agency center Lloyd Cushenberry and draft left tackle JC Latham in first round to help strengthen the offensive line.

Next he signed two WR Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd to give Levis more weapons besides DeAndre Hopkins and added RB Tony Pollard to help Tyjae Spears in backfield

Levis already had a chip on his shoulder from NFL draft night when after being projected to be picked the first night as a first rounder he didn't even get picked until the next day in second round by Tennessee

Brings to mind Aaron Rodgers and his long extended stay in the green room on draft night in 2005 as Rodgers originally projected to go at the top of the draft fell all the way down to 24th where Packers drafted him.

Levis is ready to play and prove all the doubters wrong GWlB304W0AABT9i.jpeg

With how little most first team offenses play in preseason, not surprised to see the rust in week 1. But man, what a horrendous week so far for offenses. Coaching mishaps galore. You'd think the CFL was better ball if today was your first time tuning in.

I misread the Browns. Won 11 games last year starting 5 QBs. Get Watson back and they have to contend, right? They were bad in all phases today; even the defense wasn’t good. Watson is done and I don’t think the team likes playing for him. This is a veteran team and it’s now or never this year. In these situations, it can go south in a hurry. IMO Jacksonville played good enough to win today; led for 45 minutes while Miami led only on last play of the game. I jumped on Jacksonville minus 3 (-115) against the Browns as I expect this number to hit 3.5.

Yes, Watson and Wilson are done, only difference is CLEV on the hook for 230m guaranteed, PIT league minimum.

One is a successful organization and the other is a perennial loser.

Remember the narrative the AFC North was the best division? Nope, not true. I had just got done ripping on Cleveland and Cincinnati was just as bad, if not worse. If one thinks the Patriots got lucky, go thru the box.
