Last year at Miami on Monday Night Football Titans rookie QB Will Levis became the only QB in NFL history to be down 14 points with less than 2 minutes 55 seconds left and comeback and win without having to go to overtime
Levis is also just the second QB in NFL history to throw for 4 TDs in an NFL debut
Levis did these two things last year as a rookie QB despite having the worst offensive line in the NFL as well as having hardly any weapons on offense
When Tennessee fired head coach Mike Vrabel after last season and hired new head coach Brian Callahan from Cincinnati one of first things Callahan did was watch film on Levis and decided to keep him as his future starting QB.
Callahan had Joe Burrow as his QB running the offense in Cincy and groomed Jake Browning as the backup.
Titans GM Ran Carthon decided to sign in free agency center Lloyd Cushenberry and draft left tackle JC Latham in first round to help strengthen the offensive line.
Next he signed two WR Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd to give Levis more weapons besides DeAndre Hopkins and added RB Tony Pollard to help Tyjae Spears in backfield
Levis already had a chip on his shoulder from NFL draft night when after being projected to be picked the first night as a first rounder he didn't even get picked until the next day in second round by Tennessee
Brings to mind Aaron Rodgers and his long extended stay in the green room on draft night in 2005 as Rodgers originally projected to go at the top of the draft fell all the way down to 24th where Packers drafted him.
Levis is ready to play and prove all the doubters wrong
