Simply concept to grasp. They are contest players. Contest players scan the board and look for edges in the line, without regard to who they like. There are usually a few lines that are off by 1 or 1.5 points (totals) from the time the lines are set to the time they have to be submitted which is a 5 hour window. Putting plays in on Friday is a great disadvantage for sharp players. Last week I had 3 plays in my pocket which I played at Circa that had moved in my favor by 3 points by Friday...USC +6.5. Ball over 57. E Mich over 44. Couldn't use them. This week I have Memphis over 65, Ga over 55 and 2 others. Didn't use them Maybe that would clear a few things up.

Okay it makes sense what you're saying, but last week out of 7 plays 5 of them were the same, just seems odd they're always on the same plays, but I understand your point

You also can look at others who have the same side as Fezzik/Pritchard to see if it was a popular pick. The process of scanning the board can be replaced by using a bot that periodically scrapes lines from Circa and/or other books and computes the edge/advantages every time a line changes.

Ark St -6.5 is the only common pick with no others. Four others, including Bovi, had Army OVER 51, one other had Navy UNDER 57.

Rarely succumb to that strategy but was a little to tough to pass up tho it looks like gonna pay the price. Not going over

But the thought didn't seem to gain much traction, and, well, I have other things to do, so I left it at that . . . .

But, geez, in the NFL contests I can tell when certain players put their picks in -- within a fairly tight time frame -- by how their five picks line up with the most mathematically advantaged plays in reference to one site or another at one time or another on Saturday. Depending on how fine of a point that I'm putting on tracking all that.

Again, a particular set of contest picks aren't something unique like the Coke formula, especially vis-à-vis particular players who mostly if not exclusively play the line moves.

And Fezzik in particular at the very least is going to know what the most mathematically advantaged lines on the board are at the contest deadline.
