LOL at criticizing a coach for not watching game film on the flight home, the guy busts his ass all week getting his team ready to play a game, God forbid he unwinds a little on the plane by playing cards, what's he going to learn watching tape on the plane that he won't learn by watching the same tape the next day, McIrish is spot on

Yes, certainly anything TWEETED about has to be true and accurate, for sure always without agenda. Sigh.

I'm sure you're aware of ALL-22, if not google it.

That film (which is usually broken down again by staff) isn't even made available until at least Monday morning the day after.

Again, it's absolutely pointless to watch a replay of the game where the camera follows the ball everywhere it goes.

You can't grade OL, DL, LB'ers, DB's, ST play and so on by replaying the nationally televised game, LOL.

I guess he could have been having a drink, calling home or playing grab-ass with the stewardess instead of bonding with the team.

Just trying to help, we move on.
I never said he should be watching film, which he prob cant do properly(or improperly) on a plane. I just dont think you play cards with players, with coaches would be fine.

Mike Tomlin, the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been criticized for his team's end-of-season performances, including some that have been called "choke jobs". Here are some examples:

  • 2018 and 2019: The Steelers lost four games in December, which cost them a playoff spot in both years.

  • 2020: The Steelers choked in the playoffs.

  • Clock management gaffe: In a loss to the Eagles, Tomlin took almost 30 seconds to use a timeout after T.J. Watt sacked Jalen Hurts. The Steelers could have added 26 seconds to the clock, but instead went into halftime down 17-13. Tomlin said he was "caught up" in some information he received.
