Help is coming for the Blue Demons.

Chris Holtmann signed a six-year deal through the 2029-30 season.

Hope he has some NIL money to invest.
I was a little surprised he was fired during the season but we've seen the Buckeyes have had a bump up since that firing.

VSIN's Youmans was ragging on Holtmann last night. To wit, his lack of enthusiasm on the sidelines, demeanor, hurts his teams intensity on the court.

I dunno, he did pretty good at Butler. Moreover, 5 twenty win seasons for Ohio State. Coach of the year a couple of times. It really all comes down to recruiting, Indiana was getting Ohio kids. If Holtmann can convince a few area nuggets to stay home he might turn the program around. Wooden was a very low key guy on the sidelines, didn't hurt his teams.

I don't care how many injuries Kansas has. Their late season collapse they had not good enough for a 4. FAU an 8? Also too generous. These teams that stole bids yesterday and today are stealing and busting at-large bubbles.

ESPN Joe Lunardi:

... but the real story is the number of genuinely qualified teams left out. Most years the "snubs" are mediocre; this year we could have seen the likes of Seton Hall, Pitt, Providence, Virginia and even Indiana State win multiple NCAA games. There simply aren't enough spots for them, given the unusually successful set of bid stealers.

St Johns looked like one of the last in the field, until teams like Oregon, NC State, and UAB made them invisible from even the first 4 out.

Although Connecticut got the deserved overall ,#1 seed, Purdue in the Midwest got a helluva draw.

And as a side note, I know A&M plays in if not the most competitive, the second most. However q4 losses is way too many for an at-large team. That bud could e belonged to Indiana St, St Johns, or Oklahoma.
