Re: PacMan's 2007 MLB Thread

hey pacman, first of all thanks for the posts. i've noticed a few times you said that you think nobody is following, but we are. I've been with you most of the year, and it's been great. I have one question. I think you have made a mistake, you posted the white sox on saturday and then counted it as a winner. I only ask because they have lost 8 in a row now. Should we pound them starting on Monday? Let me know what you think

scooterl22,

You're welcome. I'm not worried if someone follows or fades but I'd avoid my football for a while (down a little over $8,200 - go ahead say it, OUCH!). Hopefully you've been able to make some money with my MLB thread. If there's been a mistake be assured it is not intentional and I will look into the situation and make any and all corrections with a notation. If memory serves me right, they play tonight at 8pm - but all the above will be addressed long before then.

Re: PacMan's 2007 MLB Thread

There was a question about a game on Saturday and it turns out CWS did lose. I went into the 5D account and saw the result from the game. As mentioned, it lost but since I don't list every wager here, and the balance was within the acceptable range I didn't give it a second thought.

Listed below are the records for here and all.
EOG: 353-315-1, +$43,485, win rate = 52.844%
All: 404-361-2, +$47,988, win rate = 52.810%

Again, sorry for the mistake and know it's not intentional as I don't believe in falsifying records. I appreciate this being brought to my attention in the manner that it was and why I don't have a problem with people asking a question or making a comment in my thread(s) - as I don't normally have a lot of extra time to go 'looking' for them elsewhere.

Yes, there will be one more MLB play for today, and it will be large, after the records are correctly posted on the other sites which I post upon.

Re: PacMan's 2007 MLB Thread

No parlays here, nor waiting to the last few minutes before the game starts, let alone worrying if people 'copy' my selections. My record is what it is and if anyone's followed the selections from the start of the season, they're up BIG TIME. Those who've followed since after the All-Star break are up $13,786. Real simple, fade or follow - the choice is yours. BOL to everyone.

Nice come back with the last 2 games. May I ask you what's up with you and Florida? I see you betting a lot more money on them then at others. Any reason for that, or is it just those games were your favorite picks.

GL today.

Smash,

Thank you but the last few nights have not gone well. Far as FL goes, and for that matter all M.L.B. games, it's the method/system that indicates the level of play. BOL to you the rest of the season. Did you ever work with Axe or Crush?

Tuesday's slate will be listed once I finish typing it out (shortly).

Re: PacMan's 2007 MLB Thread

Thanks for your reply, just caught my eye a lot of your Florida games lately were pretty big plays compared to your other picks, so I thought why not ask if there is a reason. Always interested in your picks as I think you are one of the more experienced cappers here and have a somewhat different approach in capping, which seem to work for you.

I don't know if Axe or Crush are people or some sort of system, so the answer is no :)

I wish you continued success.

Smash,

You're welcome. Everyone is welcome in any of the threads I post - all I ask is for civility. Thank you and yes, I take a different approach to capping bases than many.

Axe and Crush were WWF wrestlers back in the 70's or 80's. I was just having a little fun. Sometimes a word or phrase will trigger something from 25+ years ago that I hadn't thought about in a long time.

Thank you and hopefully it starts with tonight's games.

:cheers

I know I am not the smartest guy on this site but how were you able to win $50,000 in baseball hitting 52% for the season. Did you really bet $4000 on nasty Baltimore?

Nearly all wagers for this season are listed in this thread - hence the EOG record. All wagers for this season listed in another forum - hence ALL. If you have a problem with me being on BALT, that sir is your choice. The method/system I use makes money over the course of the M.L.B. season. Have a nice day.

Why would anyone bet to win $9000 on a shitty team like Baltimore. This has to be BS. I don't believe you would risk $11,000 to win $9000 on a bet with Baltimore.
