Is the Eagles schedule one of the easiest for a 'powerhouse' in the game's history?

Yesterday was the game they 'needed to lose,' Giants are such a fraud it's hilarious. Cowboys good but you know Dak will shit the bed when the game matters most.

Looking at the Eagles schedule - Minny, Tennessee, Dallas are the best team this schedule plays. Not in their control of course, but I still think SF is going to end up being the NFCs team to beat.

First off let me state I'm a Jimmy G fan, I think he's a good QB who fits perfectly in Shanny's system, but he's limited, I think you can only go so far with him at QB, if they make the playoffs, at some point SF will need him to make a couple of plays, and I'm not sure he can do it, when fully healthy that Niners roster is as good as any in the league, but imagine if they had a Burrow, Herbert, Tua, or Allen at QB, give them one of those guys and they're probably the best team in the conference, maybe the whole league. Like I said, I'm a fan of Jimmy G, but there's a reason they traded up to take a QB a couple years ago, I think they realize Jimmy G will only get them so far, at some point in a playoff game you need more than a game manager, you need a guy who can make the type of throws that can win you the game, I just don't know if Jimmy G is that guy

Agree, 100%. But this 9ers team is so incredibly unique in that they have so many playmakers that all you have to do is get them the ball in space. They can split 25+ carries in the backfield with McCaffery, Mitchell (who looked incredible in his return), and Deebo. They can dump off 10+ passes to these same players and then for those play-action, etc. plays, you still have playmakers down the field. Add on top of this that you know the defence will never be the unit to let them down.

Maybe it's just me, but this team has the potential of creating game plans that are almost impossible to stay ahead of. That said, I hear you with Jimmy. If there was a player to keep a team in it or shift momentum (negatively), it's him.

I agree with what you post, the Niners have weapons all over the field, but my concern is that in a playoff game there will be a huge third down, let's say third and 15 at a crucial point in the game, I have confidence that any of the QB's I listed above can convert that third and long, I have doubts whether Jimmy G can hang in the pocket and fire a 15 yard pass to get the first down, I just think at some point he'll need to make a couple of big time throws and I have my doubts he can do it, but there's no question SF is a dangerous team, they can run the ball and play D, when you can do those two things you give yourself a chance to beat anyone, anywhere. I have a SB future on them +2000, so I would love to see them make a run, and it's not like the NFC is so strong either

Doubt the Eagles rep the NFC. Defence is grossly overrated, and Hurts looks like he's hitting a slump at the worst time.

As soon as trey lance went down and Jimmy G became the starter I played a SB Future on them, when fully healthy I think they have the best roster in the conference

Absolutely deserving of the MVP.

We'll see come playoff time how they respond to adversity. Before Jimmy G's injury I felt the 49ers had every piece (including him as the game manager). With a few more games for Purdy to gain experience, I still may like them.

By the end of the season, the toughtest games on the Eagles schedule will be the Cowboys or Dolphins. That concerns me. They can't pick their schedule and they've simply dominated for the most part. But It won't surprise me when they fall flat when games matter.

It's a two horse race right now between him and Mahomes, I would give the edge to Mahomes, but still a few weeks left, if the Bengals keep winning Burrow could be thrown in the mix as well, I think any chance Tua had is likely gone after the past two weeks, he needs a big game in Buffalo to get back into contention I think.
