Tua vs Hurts in the 2023 Super Bowl?

Screw Andrews

First off let me state I'm a Jimmy G fan, I think he's a good QB who fits perfectly in Shanny's system, but he's limited, I think you can only go so far with him at QB, if they make the playoffs, at some point SF will need him to make a couple of plays, and I'm not sure he can do it, when fully healthy that Niners roster is as good as any in the league, but imagine if they had a Burrow, Herbert, Tua, or Allen at QB, give them one of those guys and they're probably the best team in the conference, maybe the whole league. Like I said, I'm a fan of Jimmy G, but there's a reason they traded up to take a QB a couple years ago, I think they realize Jimmy G will only get them so far, at some point in a playoff game you need more than a game manager, you need a guy who can make the type of throws that can win you the game, I just don't know if Jimmy G is that guy

It's a two horse race right now between him and Mahomes, I would give the edge to Mahomes, but still a few weeks left, if the Bengals keep winning Burrow could be thrown in the mix as well, I think any chance Tua had is likely gone after the past two weeks, he needs a big game in Buffalo to get back into contention I think.
Look at that Burrow love from my doubting bud.....might be seeing the light after all....and if the Bengals win out and KC drops 1 game guess who the 1 seed in the AFC is....

SF replaced a game manager with another. It could be a blessing. Jimmy G was usually guaranteed to fuck it up late.

Tua ain’t the answer in Miami. That’s ok. Great weapons in place. Go get a qb.
Did you feel this way at the half? My guess is no, so one bad half of football and that's enough for you say dump Tua and go get another QB. First of all, you say "go get a QB" like they grow on trees, even if Miami does what you suggest (they won't), where do you find a franchise QB? They don't have a high enough pick, so forget the draft, so I'll ask you a serious question, where do they find a franchise QB next year? I suppose they can make a run at Jimmy G, but is he an upgrade over Tua? I don't think so, coming into today's game Tua led the league in passer rating and was second in QBR, the Dolphins have several areas where they need to upgrade and get better, their special teams are among the league's worst and their defense needs improvement, Tua is fine, he isn't Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert, or Allen, but he's good enough to win with

yep the other parts are weak... team is off balance

there are QB's worse than tua that won SB's...mia can win with tua

Almost Allright

Totally disagree he's steadily improved every year and was at one point playing at a MVP level.
At one point makes my argument. Perhaps strength of schedule convolutes one’s perception. He’s done little with the chips down here in December. He lacks the it factor. The grit. All flash until it’s time to carry the team to a W. Tua is fools gold and Miami needs to pull the plug. And funny thing is I like the kid, love the Fins, and wanted him to succeed.

It was 46 degrees at Hard Rock Stadium, the second coldest home game in Dolphins history

I’ve said it from day one he ain’t the guy. And posted here as such. These stats you fall in love with is the same reasoning that leads you to think Lebron is better than Jordan. Tua ain’t got the it that it takes to win championships. And once again, never once rooted for him to fail. It’s just the way it is.

Baker sucks, not sure what he has to do with Tua

Agree Baker does suck. But at one time he looked to be the Browns promised land. I see a similar scenario imo with Miami and Tua. My Fins ain’t won one since 73. You think it’s gonna happen with Tua? I do not.

Not to me he didn't, was never a fan of his, and I don't know if Tua's the guy to lead them to the SB or not, but I've seen enough of him to think he could be, and there's no way I'm looking to replace him next year, I'm willing to give him another couple of years, and like I said, franchise QB's don't grow on trees, it's not like there are better options available

Tua Sucks !

He's Got 2 Of The Best Receivers In The Game, At Getting Separation. Hill/ Waddle

They Cover For His Shit Play, At QB.

The Guy Taken #6 After Him, Justin Herbert, Is A Way Better QB.

Dolphins Would Be A Legitimate Super Bowl Contender Right Now, If They Had Drafted Herbert Instead Of Tagovailoa.

I don't fall in love with any stats, but when a QB is ranked first in passer rating and second in QBR, that has to mean something

but when a QB is ranked first in passer rating and second in QBR, that has to mean something

That's Only Because He Has Hill and Waddle To Throw To.

Dolphins 4 Game Losing Streak Has Tagovailoa at a 52.7 % Completion Rate.

If this keeps up his career is destined to be cut short, he needs to figure out a way to go down without his head constantly getting slammed to the turf

After the MNF fencing play, I thought and posted Tua was done this season and possibly career. That didn't happen, shockingly. He came back after a few weeks and seemed to be fine. I was wrong but I will be right. Should not have come back. Some of those picks were Tim Tebow brutal quality. Either he really didn't have those massive concussions we have on tape or he is doing permanent damage to his brain.

I do not give a fuck howid careful you are, howid ak solid your offensive lines is, howid protective the refs are to you. Play quarterback in the NFL, you are going to take hits hard enough to send vibrations to your brain. When you already had concussions, that is no bueno. At the very least, preventing necessary healing.

Football 101 WRs don't make QBs. QBs make WRs.

I'll Give You Some More Football 101

Tua Tagolivoa Certainly Doesn't Make Tyreke Hill A Great Wide Receiver.

Nor Does Tua Tagolivoa Make Jaylen Waddle A Great Wide Receiver.

They Already Were Great WR.

Don't Disagree, And Embarrass Yourself.
