I saw this thread and was going to ignore it since it didn't have any replies for several days.
The below links will display that Rail has been wetting his pants with Minshew for a while.
I don't believe there are many new posters here. However, just in case there are or lurkers, before this Minshew chatter goes too far, I want them to know a few things.
Let's face it, Rail loves every munchkin QB. If Mike Leach ever had anything to do with the QB, he instantly goes into Rail's HOF.
Minshew is maybe 6'1" - check
Leach added Minshew as a grad transfer - check
Minshew has backed up two NFL black running QB's - check
I'll admit I like Minshew too. He's always had that southern-boy, gunslinger swag at ECU, Wazzu, and he was scrappy while at Jacksonville.
But in typical Rail fashion in the top linked thread below, Rail flamed that Minshew was better than Joe Montana.
He'll probably be a solid coach when he's finished playing, but he isn't going to be Joe Montana.
