Struggled w/ mental health for years, how did she die?
No official cause released, but yes struggled with mental issues and challenges.

Guess that's what happens when you criticize the Catholic Church and rip up pictures of Pope John Paul Ii. One of her 4 children 18 months ago committed suicide.

TYVM Morgan William!!!
Sinead O Connor, 56, one hit wonder with a #1 song, "Nothing Compares 2U", written by Prince.

Sometime in the Summer of 1989 or 1990, Mom and Dad and I went to some local deli restaurant near KTLA. We are enjoying our meal when Sinead enters with her son, Jake. The kid was 2-3 years old. The owner knew both of them rather well. Turns out the kid went to the bathroom, locked the stall and then slid under it - leaving it locked. The owner knew who did it but he played it cool. He asked Jake if he could unlock it and when he did he gave him a cookie.

A really good friend is a huge fan so I asked her to sign something for him and she did.

A truly complicated and hard life. The fact she died is not a surprise. The fact she lasted this long..............is.

Today is a sad day in the NHL world.
Lonnnnnnnnnng time former voice of the Buffalo Sabres.........Rick Jeanneret - passed away at age 81.
What Kings fans think of Bob Miller - Sabres' fans think of Jeanneret. He put his heart and soul into the team. Sadly, unlike Bob, he never got to call a Cup winner.
Here are his top calls - and if you know anything about RJ you know what #1 is - and not even debatable:
