With each passing week, I'm more impressed by Quinyon Mitchell, the rookie CB for Philly. McLaurin was shut down cold.

The pre draft criticism was he played in the MAC. Yet in the Senior Bowl he did a number on MH Jr so those questions should've been answered. I was going to bet him Defensive RoY but didn't get around to it.

Watching Ross Tucker with Greg Cosell. Cosell says Tua the best in the league at throwing in tight windows. Considering how bad Miami fell off when he was out, he might be right.

Having said that, I want no part of Miami in sub 25 degree weather.

Have to check weather for tomorrow in Buffalo. Parts of western NY and PA getting crushed. Erie PA has already got 2 feet of snow and could get another foot.

I was shocked how many people were on Cincinnati. How can you lay points with a team that has allowed over 6.5 yards/play in 4 of their last 5 (the Raiders the lone failure)?

I was surprised as well, a lot of sharps had them, I didn't have the Steelers, but there was no way I'm giving Tomlin points against the Bengals horrific defense, I guess they were thinking this in the Bengals last stand, and despite their record, all I keep hearing is how they aren't as good as their metrics, and that might be so, but they have intangibles that don't get measured by metrics, some call it "Tomlin Voodoo", I call it having a damn good coach and a winning culture, you don't have 21 consecutive winning seasons without doing something right, they've won consistently with different QB's, different players, but the one constant is Tomlin

Back in 2007 the Dolphins could have hired him, instead they went with Cam Cameron, just another in a long line of terrible decisions that franchise has made

Bengals remind me of the Cowboys. Pay the top of the market for a qb and receiver,sacrificing the depth of the team. Wait for Jerry to add Parsons to the mix.

The public seems to think Cincinnati is a good team. They are a good offense, but NOT a good team. And laying 5 1/2 on the road?

Steelers at home vs Cleveland or Tampa at home vs the Raiders are better choices, IMO. It's one thing to be strategic and save teams in September. But in December? You just need to stay alive. The Browns are a poor team on the road. They also have a short week coming off the Monday nighter, quick revenge for Pitt after losing in Cleveland 10 days ago. It's tempting to fade the Raiders, but they played the Chiefs tough. Granted a road non-divisional game so you might get a poor effort but their defense has been under the radar; 6 of L9 games have allowed 5.0 YPP or lower. Dallas has 3 days extra rest. I guess anyone can look good against the Giants but I couldn't take a non divisional road team to win in this spot.

I can't believe Browns' kicker is still with the team. I thought for sure after missing 3 in NOLA he was gone. I've seen guys on YouTube better than Hopkins.

There was some wind there. I was all over the under 3 1/2 field goals and Jameis under 252 1/2 pass yards.

There's an alleged prop expert, when told that there would be 15 mph winds gusting to 25 in Pittsburgh, he dismissed it as meaningless. He was wrong.
